Duration of the Orange Belt course

The Orange Belt course is 2 days. The days are consecutive and start each from 9 am till 5 pm.

Program Orange Belt training course

In the Orange Belt training course, you will learn the basics of Lean, Agile and Six Sigma. You will be introduced to the 5 phases of Lean Six Sigma: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control (DMAIC). During the training, you will practice these phases using a case.

The following topics are covered in the training:

  • What is Lean, what is Six Sigma, what is Agile, and how do these methods reinforce each other?
  • Walking through the phases of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control, also known as the DMAIC-method.
  • Learn the basics of change management.
  • Recognizing waste.
  • Discussing and practicing with various tools (including Value Stream Map, CTQ, fishbone diagram) and techniques.
  • Directly applying the knowledge to an improvement process.

Together we will translate these methodologies and tools to suit your unique environment and the specific processes in which you operate. Throughout the training, each phase of process improvement will be comprehensively explained through real-life examples and a practical case-study, ensuring a clear understanding and practical application.
